The Story of Charis

Launched in the summer of 2013 by Broker/Owner Christy Issler, Charis Realty Group was founded to provide the passionate, collaborative, and high-tech environment missing from the real estate industry. What began as a small group has seen astounding growth over the last 12 years. At its heart, Charis is a service company dedicated to bringing light to the "gray areas" of real estate, serving clients and communities with the highest excellence. Charis now has over 100 agents operating out of five offices in Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia. The leadership team has over 70 years of combined experience and is supported by in-house services for legal, tech, staging, and more. Voted "Best of the Best" for eight consecutive years by the Frederick News Post, Charis has served over 4,000 families in the last five years, providing exceptional service to every client. Charis' commitment extends to the community through its non-profit, CHARISCARES, which provides everything from Christmas assistance and food pantry stocking to disaster relief and supporting animal rescues. Our core values, developed by our agents, ensure that every Charis agent is dedicated to bringing light to the industry.
